Collect 49 or 70 stones for stoning. Offer Maghrib and Isha together and spend the night under the open sky.

Stoning of the Jamarat (10th Dhul-Hijjah)

Shaving (Tahlul)

  1. Ihram

Before entering the Miqat, the boundary around Mecca, wear your Ihram clothing. Make the Niyyah or intention for Hajj.

During Ihram, it is prohibited to trim hair and nails, use perfume, or engage in intimate relations.

After arriving in Mecca, you have to perform Tawaf and Sa'i. Right after arrival, in an anticlockwise direction perform Tawafaal-Qudum or the arrival circumambulation by circling the Kaaba seven times.

Once you are done with Tawaf, following in the footsteps of Hajar, conduct Sa’i by walking seven times between the hills of Safa and Marwah.

Completing Sa’i, pray two rakat of salat near Maqam Ibrahim if possible.
